Film ini menceritakan perjalanan hidup dari band Wali sendiri yang digawangi oleh Apoy, Faank, Tomi dan Ovie.

Dimana empat orang pemuda ini adalah anak pesantren La Tansa yang memiliki minat dan bakat yang sama dalam bidang musik, sehingga akhirnya mereka berempat memutuskan untuk membuat sebuah band yang disebut dengan Wali Band. Meskipun kehidupan pesantren mereka terbilang sangat ketat dalam hal peraturan maupun disiplinnya, termasuk sebuah kewajiban untuk berbahasa Inggris atau Arab dikesehariannya.Tapi mengingat ini adalah sebuah pesantren yang modern dan berkualitas, pihak pesantren sendiri sangat mendukung setiap kegiatan yang akan menunjang kemampuan dari para siswanya, termasuk kegiatan bermusik yang sangat diminati oleh Apoy dkk. Kegiatan dakwahnya pun bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai cara.

Adalah Westi (Intan Nuraini) yang terlibat kisah percintaan dengan salah satu personil Wali, yaitu Faank.Namun kisah cinta mereka tidak berjalan mulus, kehidupan Faank yang sebagai seorang pemusik sangat tidak disetujui oleh orang tua Westi, terlebih lagi saat mereka berdua mengalami sebuah kecelakaan yang berujung pada kelumpuhan Westi.Cinta ini semakin tidak direstui oleh lingkungan keluarga Westi

Seakan tidak henti-hentinya cobaan melanda kisah cinta ini, munculah dua santri cantik bernama Azizah (Arumi Bachsin) dan Nurul (Sulis) yang mulai menggoyahkan rasa cinta Faank.Demikian juga dengan Westi yang dikabarkan akan segera dijodohkan dengan anak orang kaya bernama Bagas (Dennis Adhiswara).

Mendengar kabar perjodohan tersebut, Tomi selaku sahabat Faank berusaha juga menjodohkan temannya ini dengan salah satu Santri tadi agar kesedihannya tidak berlarut-larut. Walaupun dilain pihak ternyata diam-diam Apoy juga diam-diam menaruh hati pada Azizah dan merasakan cemburu pada kedekatan Azizah dan Faank.

Hal ini dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh salah satu teman mereka, Hamzah yang selama ini iri pd rasa persahabtan mereka dan selalu berusaha mencari jalan untuk membubarkannya. Hamzah berusaha untuk mengadu domba kedua sahabat ini, namun untung saja salah satu personil Wali yang paling muda, yaitu Ovie selalu berhasil mengagalkan niat buruk tersebut. Semua kisah perjalanan hidup ini akan terangkum apik dalam Wali : Baik-Baik Sayang.

Gandeng Microsoft, RIM Pastikan Bing Eksis di Versi Bold Terbaru

ORLANDO - Ponsel mobile Blackberry baru tak lama lagi akan mengusung integrasi 'mendalam' dengan mesin pencari Microsoft, Bing, demikian menurut pengumuman perusahaan.

Berbicara di depan Konferensi Dunia Blacberry di Orlando, Florida, CEO Microsoft, Steve Balmer, menyatakan perusahaan akan melakukan investasi 'unik' dalam produk-produk Research in Motion (RIM). Dengan investasi itu, Bing tak lama lagi bakal menjadi alat resmi untuk pencarian dan pemetaan, karena ia akan berintegrasi sepenuhnya dalam sistem operasi terbaru Blackberry, OS 7.

"Kehadirannya (Bing-red) lebih dari sekedar kotak pencarian," ujar Ballemr. "Kita berbicara tentang piranti sungguhan yang membantu orang-orang sungguhan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan,"

Dalam sebuah video demonstrasi menunjuukan pencarian Bing yang menggunakan aktivasi suara, begitupula teknologi pemetaan ketinggian jalan. Microsoft mengatakan kemitraan itu juga memberi penempatan istimewa kepada aplikasi Bing dalam toko aplikasi RIM, Blackberry App World.

Dalam konferensi Blackberry tahunan itu juga diumumkan aplikasi baru untuk PlayBook yakni Facebook dan video chat, bersama dengan dua handset Bold terbaru yang telah menggunakan sistem operasi BB OS 7.

Perusahaan juga mengatakan Bold 9900 dan 9930 adalah 'smartphone tertipis namun paling bertenaga dari Blackberry dengan fitur keyboard yang telah dikenal plus layar sentuh yang cerdas".

Piranti itu memiliki ketebalan 10,2 milimeter dan dijalankan prosesor 1,2 ghz, menjadikannya smartphone tercepat dari Blackberry meski belum diproduksi massal. Mengusung fitur komunikasi jarak dekat, integrasi Office yang telah dipermak dan web browsing lebih baik, kedua upiranti akan diluncurkan setelah msim panas nanti. Hal pembeda tipe 9930 dari 9900 karena ia ditujukan untuk jaringan CDMA.

Para pakar dari CCS Insight, menggambarkan piranti baru itu sebagai 'update yang paling diinginkan. Mereka menambahkan deal dengan Bing juga membuat Blackberry mampu mengatasi kelemahan sekaligus menunjukkan, perlahan tapi pasti Bing menapak sebagai pesaing raksasa pencarian Google.

Apa Sih Kelebihan Blackberry 7?

JAKARTA--Research in Motion melakukan serangkaian pembaharuan pada sistem operasi Blackberry 7 yang baru saja diperkenalkan. Ada sejumlah aplikasi dan fitur baru yang dibenamkan disini.

Salah satu unggulan OS Blackberry 7 adalah kecepatan brwsing. Blackberry 7 diklaim memiliki browser yang lebih cepat 1.6 kali lipat dibandingkan dengan pendahulunya. Sekadar perbandingan, loading di Blod 9900 sekitar 7.81 detik, sementara Torch membutuhkan waktu hingga 12.4 detik.

Apa yang membuat Blackberry 7 bisa melesat lebih cepat. Salah satu faktornya adalah liquid raphics yang dibenamkan di Bold terbaru. Dukungan lain adalah Javascript terbaru yang telah mendukung konsep just in time. Kecepatan brwsing tadi juga didukung oleh elemen HTML.5 seperti HTML5 video.

Fitur terbaru lain yang diusung RIM adalah voice search. Ini fitur untuk membantu pengguna saat menggunakan mesin pencari. Dengan instruksi suara, pengguna bisa mencari konten yang dibutuhkan menggunakan ponsel atau web.

Blackberry balance merupakan fitur baru lain yang baru dimiliki Bold 9900/9930. Fitur ini mampu memilah konten personal dari konten korporat yang ada di ponsel--apabila pengguna menggunakan layanan Blackberi Enterprise Services. Dengan Blackberry balance, pengguna akan memiliki keleluasaan menggunakan handsetnya untuk imel, facebook, twitter dan game. Tak perlu takut bahwa konten atau layanan nonkoporat akan diblok oleh server.

Untuk urusan pekerjaan, ada aplikasi Docs To Go full version. Aplikasi ini menawarkan kekeluasaan penggunanya bekerja dengan word, excel dan power point. Aplikasi ini juga telah mendukung layanan PDF viewer.

35 Antivirus Diuji, Siapa Juaranya?

Jakarta - Sebuah uji antivirus baru-baru ini dilakukan oleh seorang konsultan keamanan secara independen. Setidaknya ada 35 merek antivirus dunia yang dijajal kekuatannya melawan berbagai virus maupun program jahat yang dibuatnya sendiri.

Chaz Sowers, nama konsultan tersebut, mengaku menjalankan metodologi yang tidak memihak dan tes ini tidak menggunakan metode ilmiah double-blind. "Paling tidak, saya mempunyai tujuan untuk mencari solusi antivirus yang terbaik untuk komputer saya sendiri. Di atas semuanya, tolong diingat: saya sedang mencari sebuah produk antivirus yang mampu mengidentifikasi dan menghapus jumlah terbanyak dari tes malware yang saya miliki," jelasnya.

Fokus pada tes ini memang pada banyaknya jumlah yang dapat dideteksi dan juga perangkat lunak yang melaporkan 'kesalahan positif' dengan jumlah besar dari serbuan virus dan malware yang dilancarkan ke antivirus yang diuji.

Untuk menjalankan tes tersebut Chaz menggunakan sistem operasi Windows XP baru pada mesin virtual Sun Virtual Box. Instalasi Windows telah sepenuhnya diperbaharui (termasuk SP3) per 8 Januari 2009.

Setiap program antivirus disalin ke komputer utama dari shared folder dan merupakan satu-satunya program pada mesin virtual yang bukan bagian dari Windows install biasa. Tes data yang masuk disimpan di drive D dan terdiri dari 36.438 malware yang semuanya pernah dan atau sedang beredar.

Sementara dari hardware yang digunakan terdiri dari prosesor AMD Sempron 2600-Plus, motherboard Asus A7N8X-E, 3 GB RAM DDR 184 pin, sebuah hard drive Seagate 190GB SATA, dan sebuah video card nVidia.

iOS 4.3.3 Fix For iPhone Location 'Bugs' On Its Way

As promised last week, Apple will reportedly fix location-tracking software on the iPhone and other devices in an update to its iOS mobile operating system in the next few weeks.

Apple will release iOS version 4.3.3 "within the next two weeks, possibly sooner," BGR.com reported Monday, citing a company source.

The update for iPhones and iPad tablets will address several location-tracking issues that came to light in April when two researchers publicized the existence of an unencrypted, hidden file on iPhones that stores location data taken from nearby cell towers and Wi-Fi hotspots. The cached data is also timestamped, backed up on iTunes and although associated with Apple's Location Services, cannot be shut off by users when they opted out of the service.

The iOS 4.3.3 update promises to end the backing up of the location database when devices are synched to iTunes, reduce the size of the cached data file and delete the database when users turn off Location Services, according to BGR.com.

There will also be some improvements in 4.3.3 that aren't related to location tracking, including a boost to battery life and fixes for bugs in the iPod Touch.

The last piece of Apple's PR nightmare over what it calls location-tracking "bugs"—the lack of encryption for the location data cache—won't be addressed until the "next major iOS software release," the company stated last week.
